The Complete Guide to Ticket Sizes and Formats
Compare six Premium and five Economy ticket sizes, their verified stub options, and which blank formats accept your own design.
A ticket's size should give guests enough room to read the essentials and give your team the handling space the event needs. Here are the current Premium and Economy ticket sizes and stub layouts, checked against the public blank templates on our Upload My Design pages and available designed tickets. Dimensions are in inches and follow the size names shown in the catalog.
How to read the options: “No stubs” means one unbroken ticket. One or more stubs add detachable sections; choose a layout for admission checks, prize drawings, meal choices, or other details your team needs to retain. Check the selected template's safe area and perforation guides before you prepare artwork. Availability can change as designs are added or retired.
Premium event ticket sizes
Premium upload templates include a bleed area for backgrounds that extend to the trim line. Leave important wording inside the safe area.
Premium Regular — 2 × 5.25 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs or 1 stub. A compact choice for general admission, school performances, and smaller gatherings when the key details fit comfortably.
Premium Large — 2.75 × 6 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, or 2 stubs. The added room can help separate entry information from a detachable prize or meal section.
Premium X-Large — 2.75 × 8.5 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, or 2 stubs. Useful when a schedule, seat details, or sponsor acknowledgment needs more room. A public 3-stub designed ticket also exists, but a blank 3-stub upload template is not currently listed for this size.
Premium XX-Large — 3.625 × 8.5 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, 2 stubs, or 3 stubs. Consider this wider format for detailed fundraising events or multiple detachable checkpoints.
Premium Wide — 4 × 6 in.
Stub choices: No stubs or 1 stub. A wider shape gives artwork and event details room to breathe. The current choices use existing designs; blank upload templates can be added later.
Premium XXX-Large — 3.75 × 11 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, 2 stubs, or 3 stubs. The long layout can hold a program-style admission ticket with room for separate retained sections.

Economy event ticket sizes
Economy upload templates have no bleed area. Keep all artwork inside the marked printable safe zone, and keep critical text away from perforation lines.
Economy Regular — 2.125 × 5.5 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs or 1 stub. A compact option when a straightforward admission ticket or a single retained stub does the job.
Economy Large — 2.75 × 5.5 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, or 2 stubs. Gives the main ticket and optional retained sections more breathing room.
Economy X-Large — 2.75 × 8.5 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, or 2 stubs. A longer layout when event details and a draw or check-in stub need separate space.
Economy XX-Large — 3.625 × 8.5 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, 2 stubs, or 3 stubs. Useful for events that need several detachable sections without crowding the main ticket.
Economy XXX-Large — 3.25 × 11 in.
Blank-upload stub choices: No stubs, 1 stub, 2 stubs, or 3 stubs. The longer format gives you more space to organize event details and retained sections.

Before choosing a format
- Decide what the guest keeps and what staff need to collect; that determines whether you need a stub and how many.
- Review the exact template before creating artwork: the listed size, printable safe area, bleed rules, and perforation placement may differ between Premium and Economy.
- Keep the event name, date, time, venue, admission information, and any required numbering readable. Do not assume a chosen template adds numbering automatically—check its order and design options.
- If an existing design is close but the size or stub layout is not right, start with the matching blank upload template or [contact us](/contact) about your format.
